FERRITE DEVICES FOR RECEIVING SYSTEMS
Abstract
Troughline isolator design problems are discussed. A stripline isolator is described which provides greater than 25 db isolation and under 1.2 db insertion loss for 4-8 kmc. A description is given of phase shift studies carried out on an axially magnetized, ferriteloaded stripline bandpass filter. Information is given on measurements of the non-reciprocalATTENUATION AND DEGRADATION OF MODE PURITY PROVIDED BY A CIRCUMFERENTIALLY MAGNETIZED RING OF HEXAGONAL FERRITE MATERIAL IN TE01 mode waveguide. A description is also given of measurements on hexagonal ferrite materials to be used in a broadband 26.5-40 kmc isolator. (Author)
