ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY ON THE MINIMIZATION OF BOOLEAN FORMULAS AND SWITCHING CIRCUITS

Abstract

More than two hundred titles are presented of papers and several books which deal with the problems encountered in the minimization of Boolean formulas and switching networks, or with mathematical results that have been directly useful in the study of such problems. Although fairly complete, this list does not pretend to be exhaustive. Whenever possible witho t undue amount of labor, a short abstract of the paper is given: often, this abstract is (or is summarized) from the one given by the author or by a reviewer. The main sources are our own experience, the Mathematical Review, the I.R.E. periodicals and the bibliographies given at the end of the papers we could consult. (Author)
