INVESTIGATION OF INSTRUMENTATION AND TECHNIQUES FOR ARMY WEATHER OBSERVATION

Abstract

Appearing in this report is a summary f the radar film record obtained from the PPI scope of Weather Radar Set AN/CPS-9 operated at McCulloch Peak, Oregon, for the period 1 November 1960 through 31 January 1961. Echo types appearing in the different zones and during various synoptic conditions are summarized. The results offor varying amounts of intervening echo. 9Author)
