THE MAGNETO-IONIC THEORY FOR DRIFTING PLASMA

Abstract

The magneto-ionic theory for the case of drifting plasma with constant drift velocity is developed. The refractive index is shown to be the solution of an algebraic equation of the sixth order. In several particular cases the algebraic equation is solved explicitly. (Author)
