DESTRUCTIVE TESTING OF LOCKING RING AND TWIST LOCK CONTAINERS

Abstract

A description is given of the method used and the results obtained in testing bo h locking ring type and twist lock type containers for their ability to maintain structural integrity when subjected to int rnal pre ure changes such as would be encountered during aerial transportation. The destruction point of the different containers tested is established. (Author)
