Abstract
Research was continued on the development of a standby 2-inch directional indicator and compass system. Design and detailing on the two major mechanical elements of the system have been esse i lly co pl E ASSEMBLY OF THE GYRO ROTOR AND ROTOR HOUSING HAS B EN COMPLETED AN INITIAL TE TS INDICATE VERY SATISFACTORY PERFORMANCE.
