STANDBY, TWO-INCH DIRECTIONAL INDICATOR AND COMPASS SYSTEM
Abstract
Work continued on the development of a mini uri o-i c ir c ional indicator and co pas sy tem incorpor ting automatic m gn ic l vi g, direc io l gyro tabilization and automatic synchronization, and latitude compensation. The design of the basic gyro element has been completed and is included. The compass control circuitry has been breadboarded and tested with good r portion of the indicator is appro im tely 5% complet and is shown. (Author)
