MODERATOR AND SHIELD WATER GRAPHIC CONTROL PANEL FOR THE NARF REACTORS

Abstract

The design, fabrication, and operation of a graphic-control and function-display panel for the reactor moderator- and shield-water systems of the Nuclear Aerospace Research Facility (NARF) are described. The panel logically presents all physical and dynamic features pertaining to the transfer an storage of moderator and shield water in the NARF reactor complex. This panel features the use of electroluminescent lighting and is believed to be the first such application of this unique illumination source for schematic flow representation. (Author)
