PROPOSED TEST PROGRAM ON AEROTHERMOELASTIC SIMILARITY LAWS

Abstract

The similarity laws required for experimental aerothermoelastic studies at a free stream Mah number of less than 3.5 are reviewed. n experimental program to check out some of the concepts and ideas involved in these studies is proposed with particular emphasis on flutter of thin, soli, plate-type lifting surfaces, built-up wing structures, and panel flutter.
