CORRELATION FUNCTIONS IN A PLASMA

Abstract

The correlation function between the potential at point a and the potential at point b in a fully ionized plasma is computed. The correlation function is shown to be a long-range function of the distance between points a and b. This result has significance in the treatment of the interaction of radiation with a plasma because of its effect on transport properties in a plasma. (Author)
