CERTAIN FEATURES OF THE TRANSVERSE PROPAGATION OF HIGH-FREQUENCY WAVES IN MAGNETOACTIVE PLASMA

Abstract

Certain features of the propagation of highfrequency waves in a uniform plasma located in a constant magnetic field are discussed. These features are associated with the thermal motion of electrons and are manifested sufficiently effectively only when propagation occurs in a direction perpendicular (or practically perpendicular) to the field (transverse propagation).
