Abstract

All material from one-inch Ti-6Al-4V plate needed for use in welding evaluation has been flame-cut, flattened, and cleaned. The balance of the oneinch thick plate will be stocked in the as-rolled condition pending disposition by the Bureau of Naval Weapons. Two weldments have been completedAND THE WELDS WERE CUT OUT IN PREPARATION FOR laboratory tensile testing. (Author)
