MEDIAN SIGNAL POWER REQUIRED FOR RECEPTION OF RADIO TRANSMISSIONS IN THE PRESENCE OF NOISE

Abstract

A description is given of the general nature of radio noise and data are presented in the form of maps, charts, and tables for determining the required median signal power across the receiver input for satisfactory communication in the presence of atmospheric, galactic, man-made, and receiver noise. It is based on the latest analyzed noise data. (Author)
