THE DABOB BAY NOISE-MEASURING SYSTEM. SECTION I: SYSTEM OPERATION

Abstract

The Dabob Bay Noise-Measuring System operation is described in signal-flow order, beginning with the hydrophones and continuing through the amplifiers and other components of the system.Although the system makes use of some commercial components, operating instructions in each section are complete and do not refer to manufacturers' instruction manuals. Maintenance, however, is limited to preventive maintenance, and the reader is referred to the manufacturers' instruction manuals for detailed maintenance information. (Author)
