ANALYSIS OF THE SHAPE OF ATMOSPHERICS

Abstract

The results are described of the analysis of the shape of single atmospherics as obtained in recent years in NIZMIRAN. The propagation velocity of audio frequency electromagnetic waves and the effective conductivity of the lower part of the ionosphere at these frequencies can be determined on the basis of studying the phase characteristics of atmospherics by using a method proposed by IA.
