USE OF A TWO-ELEMENT INTERFEROMETER TO INVESTIGATE WAVE FIELD FLUCTUATIONS

Abstract

A theoretical estimate is presented of the fluctuations at the output of a two-element interferometer loaded by a squared detector. The dependence of the character of the output signal fluctuations on the spatial correlation properties of the amplitude-phase fluctuations of the field and also its regular characteristics are investigated.
