ON THE CURRENT DISTRIBUTION IN AN ANTENNA WITH NONMECHANICAL BEAM SCANNING
Abstract
The singularities are considered of the radiating current distribution in an antenna whose principal maximum of the directivity pattern must move nonmechanically in a prescribed sector. A relation in general form is established between the number of linearly-independent current components and the ratio of the scanning sector to the width of the main beam of the antenna. (Author)
