INVESTIGATION OF ELECTRICALLY VARIABLE DELAY LINES II

Abstract

The problems and techniques of electrically variable delay lines, based on non-linear ferroelectrics, were studied. The frequency range of interest was from 30-1000 mc. An experimental helical delay line was developed for a minimum operating frequency of 200 mc. This line required the development of low loss materials of high permittivity and the development of low capacitance dielectric structures. (Author)
