INVESTIGATION OF VARIOUS ACTIVATOR-REFRACTORY SUBSTRATE COMBINATIONS

Abstract

Two cathode systems were examined that have rather attractive emission and evaporation characteristics. The composition of these systems and several others are discussed and the results reported. The major factors affecting the temperature variation of the work function ARE MENTIONED. The effects of space charge on the data are to be examined further. (Author)
