QUANTUM DETECTOR FOR MEASUREMENT OF EED BRIDGE WIRE TEMPERATURE RISE

Abstract

Investigations in the following areas have been initiated or completed: (1) to determine the feasibility of using a cryogenically-cooled detector; (2) to determine type of chopper best suited for this application; and (3) to determine type of optical system for collecting energy from the bridge wire and imaging it on the detector.
