BASIC CHEMICAL RESEARCH PROGRAM. ELECTRICAL PROPERTIES OF ORGANIC COMPOUNDS

Abstract

A basic chemical research program was initiated for the purpose of investigating the process of electronic conduction in organic compounds. The goals of this investigation are the improvement of solid state devices, and the development of new materials with unique electrical properties for application in electronic components. The work was divided into two parts: chemical synthesis of appropriate organic compounds and the measurement of their electrical properties. (Author)
