DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF APPARATUS FOR AUTOMATIC DETERMINATION OF OPTICAL DISPERSION

Abstract

An optical dispersion curve is determined by a double instrument. A monochromator selects a wavelength and a refractometer determines the refractive index at this wavelength. A method is developed that carries out this procedure automatically. Its application to the specific case of the Rehovoth monochromator-refractometer is outlined. (Author)
