RESEARCH, DESIGN, AND CONSTRUCTION OF A MISSILE-BORNE RADIOMETER

Abstract

A rocketborne filter radiometer is described which was designed and constructed to study the infrared spectra of various extended sources. The theory of operation, some specific design considerations, and the problem of making the instrument small, light-weight, and rugged are discussed. (Author)
