Abstract
A glossary of the known joining processes and a short explanation of each was prepared to familiarize the designer with the wide range of processes available. Some of the processes are quite limited in application, while others are very flexible. In addition to the lossary, a discussion of specific processes and their applications is included as an aid to the designer. (Author)
