LINEAR LUMPED PARAMETER ANALYSIS OF SYNCHROS V. SYSTEMS CONTAINING CONTROL SYNCHROS

Abstract

The theory of synchro systems is investigated. Properties of interest, especially accuracy, for synchro control systems both loaded and unloaded with a wye in parallel are treated. Formulas for these properties given in terms of the impedances are applied to design cases: a simple control system with a loaded transformer rotor, n wyes in parallel, and a load in parallel consisting of n transformers with loaded rotors. The cases are solved by a technique employing equivalent circuits.
