FABRICATION OF PYROLYTIC GRAPHITE ROCKET NOZZLE COMPONENTS

Abstract

Progress is reported on the manufacture of pyrolytic graphite nozzle inserts. The problems associated with machining of free standing pyrolytic graphite liners remain unsolved. Effort was directed toward optimizing holding fixtures and improving machining techniques. (Author)
