INDUSTRIAL PREPAREDNESS MEASURE ON 1 WATT 70 MC GERMANIUM MESA TRANSISTOR

Abstract

Investigations were completed on the 1 watt, 70 mc, pilot production run. A pilot production line was developed which exhibits mature, controlled manufacturing techniques. The high frequency and power requirements of the proposed device required the development of a completely new approach to the package and design of a mesa device. General mechanical and electrical descriptions are presented and the process technology is described in narrative form. The necessary equipment and the pilot production run are also described.
