ELECTRON PARAMAGNETIC RESONANCE IN SAPPHIRE

Abstract

This research represents a further refinement of Korniyenko's and Prokhorov's work on sapphire energy levels in their application to maser development. Their previous effort in this field was publihed in 1957. In 1959, G. S. Bogle and H. F. Symmons of the Commonwealth Scientific and Indstria Research Organiation, Sydney, Australia, discssed the SOVIET RESULS AND NOTED AGREEMENT WITH THEIR FORM OF THE SPIN-Hamiltonian. The numerical results of the lates Soviet paper, however, show that the accuracy of the spin-Hamiltonian coefficients is an order of magnitude better here than in the 1957 Soviet figures or in the relevant 1959 ustraian results.
