AN EXACT MODAL SOLUTION FOR A RECTANGULAR GUIDE LOADED WITH LONGITUDINALLY MAGNETIZED FERRITE
Abstract
An exact modal solution for a rectangular guide partially or completely filled with a slab of longitudinally magnetized ferrite is given as a superposition of modes of the parallel plate guide loaded with ferrite magnetized in a direction parallel to the walls. A numerical case relative to a guide completely filled with longitudinally magnetized ferrite is solved. Diagrams showing the field distribution are given. (Author)
