ON THE DESIGN OF A SIMPLE CONDITIONED-RESPONSE MACHINE

Abstract

Learning by conditioning as it occurs in living organisms is examined to determine which aspects of classical conditioning can be instrumented in an electronic analog. Electronic techniques for this instrumentation are discussed. A specialpurpose conditioned-reflex analog and an experiment for it are described. Possible applications of conditioned reflex in data-processing are considered. (Author)
