THE CONSTANT-RATIO RULE AND LIFTED WEIGHTS

Abstract

The present experiment was designed to evaluate a model of choice behavior, the constant-ratio rule, with a single dimensional stimulus ensemble of lifted weights. The results indicate that the rule can successfully predict the responses made to the stimulus objects. The concepts of stimulus and response confusion are advanced to explain the results. (Author)
