Abstract

The references are grouped inports, *Flui flow, Turbul nce, Turbulent flow, Diffraction, Refraction, Laboratory equipment.) *Polymers, *Molecules, *Colloids, *Solutions. This bibliography is concerned with the ph sical apparatus and physical theories applicable to the phenomena of flow birefringence. Attention is also given to references to studies of specific materials. The principal period of the referenced publications is 1940 through 1960. The references are grouped in accordance with a etailed subject outline.
