THE MANUFACTURE OF TI-7A1-12ZR SHEETS

Abstract

Annealing temperature studies were concluded. The results of these studies showed that the best combination of creep strength and ductility could be obtained by annealing in the 1550 to 1600 F range. Production work during this period involved rolling the remaining intermediate gage sheet to final size. (Author)
