DYNAMICS OF TWO-PHASE FLOW IN ROCKET NOZZLES

Abstract

Theoretical and experimental investigation is conducted on the radial and axial velocity lag of a solid disperse phase in accelerating gases. The objective is to obtain basic data regarding the nozzle flow dynamics of a gas-particle mixture which results from the combustion of solid propellants containing metal additives. (Author)
