ON THE SOLUTION OF A CLASS OF DUAL INTEGRAL EQUATIONS

Abstract

The solution of a cla s of dual integral equations which appear in the formulation of electristatic and electromagnetic boundary value problems possessing circular s mmetr is discussed. Two classes of equations are discussed out of which the first one admits a closed form solution. A Fredholm's equation of the second kind i derived for the second class and iterative means of solution are suggested. Some particular advantages of the formulation are pointed out. (Author)
