INVESTIGATION OF VARIOUS ACTIVATOR - REFRACTORY SUBSTRATE COMBINATIONS

Abstract

Thermionic emission constants and evaporation rate data are presented for several dispenser cathode systems. Initial interpretation of experimental data suggest the emission originates from a thin layer on the substrate surface that is a donor type semiconductor. (Author)
