BIBLIOGRAPHY ON MICROORGANISMS AFFECTING PETROLEUM AND PETROLEUM PRODUCTS INCLUDING REPORTS ON SULFATE-REDUCING BACTERIA
Abstract
A list of references is presented on (1) the characteristic behavior of specific types of anaerobic, aerobic, pathogenic types of bacteria, and fungi, (2) the effects of producing contaminant residue, deteriora8fuels, Fuel storage tanks, Pipes, *Petroleum, Hydrocarbons, Gasoline, *Lubricants, Oils, Oil tanks, *Liquid rocket propellants, Metals, Materials.) A list of references is presented on (1) the characteristic behavior of specific types of anaerobic, aerobic, pathogenic types of bacteria, and fungi, (2) the effects of producing contaminant residue, deterioration, corrosion of pipelines, materials oil emulsions, gasoline, lubricants, linings of fuel storage tanks, metals, and other container-type storage devices, and (3) the development of bacterial and fungal inhibitors such as bactericides, fungicides, and other types of countermeasures such as coatings and resistant additives. Many foreign reports of French, German, Italian and Russian origin are presented.
