DIFFUSION OF GASES IN HAFNIUM

Abstract

This study shows that damping effects may be a general attribute of hcp alloys and demonstrates that similar peaks appear in alloys of Hf. From this study a number of interesting characteristics of the diffusion of oxygen in the alloys is deduced. A description of the laboratory procedure is included. (Author)
