ELECTRIC AND CHEMICO-MECHANICAL METHODS OF WORKING METALS (CHAPTER VII)

Abstract

Electrochemical methods of electroplating and electrochemical polishing are demonstrated. Chemical milling and metal heating processes are discussed. Heat treating of steel by contact electroheating (N. V. Geveling's method), heating in electrolytes (I. Z. Yasnogodskiy's method), and surface flame hardening are also discussed.
