THE ATOMIZATION OF LIQUID FUEL BY MEANS OF PNEUMATIC INJECTORS

Abstract

The application of the theory of similitude to problems of the atomization of a viscous liquid in air injectors resulted in a criterial function for determining the mean diameter of the drops of AN ATOMIZED JET. No change was noted in the fineness of atomization along the jet. A formula is given for determining the degree of uniformity of the drops (size distribution).
