A SHAFT-ANGLE-TO-DIGIT CONVERTER

Abstract

A shaft-angle-to-digit converter is described. It contains a disk with code cells and reading elements, differing in that, for the purpose of simplifying the design, decreasing the dimensions, and increasing the reliability, the code cells of the disk are filled with a paste containing a radioactive isotope, while the reading elements are made in the form of metal plates connected to the inputs of amplifiers or crystal counters.
