APPLICATION OF SEMICONDUCTOR DIODES TO LOW-NOISE AMPLIFIERS, HARMONIC GENERATORS, AND FAST-ACTING TR SWITCHES

Abstract

Theoretical and experimental work is described which was performed on: (1) the use of varactor diodes as low-noise amplifiers, harmonic generators, and fast-acting TR switches, and (2) the use of tunnel diodes as amplifiers, mixers, and oscillators. (Author)
