A THIN-PLATE BATTERY

Abstract

Progress is reported on the task of demonstrating the feasibility of miniaturizing the NOL liquid ammonia activated cell. Over 90 cells were activated. The principal objectives were the optimization of cell parameters and the refinement of flectro lytic cells, Cathodes (Electrolytic cells), Design, Tests, Effectiveness.) (Electronic circuits, Thin films, Design.) (Test equip ment, Power meters, Design.) Identifiers: Molecular electronics. Progress is reported on the task of demonstrating the feasibility of miniaturizing the NOL liquid ammonia activated cell. Over 90 cells were activated. The principal objectives were the optimization of cell parameters and the refinement of fabrication and activation techniques to ensure reproducibility. The fabrication of a second cell holder was completed to permit more rapid accumulation of data. The new cell holder is identical to the first except for a minor modification of the solution feed system. (Author)
