CATALYSIS OF OXYGEN AND NITROGEN ATOM RECOMBINATION

Abstract

Th r is evidence h t very potent O d a om recombination catalysts can be developed. Very little research has been directed toward this objective, as a review of the literature reveals. The proposed investigation is intended to experimentally identify gas pha e catalysts for O and N atom r combination and theoretic lly ev luate their effect on the chemical lag of the te t gas flowing through a hypersonic wind tunnel facility.
