PRODUCTION ENGINEERING MEASURE TRANSISTOR, VHF, SILICON, POWER (5W-70MC)

Abstract

INVESTIGATIONS ARE CONCERNED WITH THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A LIMITED PRODUCTION FACILITY FOR THE FABRICATION OF 70 MC, 5 WATT TRANSISTORS. Device design, process refinement, and package design were studied. Suitable progress was made in these areas and a device design with an annular configuration and planar structure was developed. A preliminary package was obtained for the fabrication of the initial engineering samples. (Author)
