CHLORINE TRIFLUORIDE HANDLING MANUAL

Abstract

Directly usable information for the safe handling of chlorine trifluoride is presented. The properties of the propellant and techniques for hazards reduction and control are discussed in detail. Selection and preparation of equipment for use with the propellant are presented and discussed. Propellant transfer procedures using both gas pressurization and pumping techniques are discussed in detail. Other pertinent information such as transportation, storage, and equipment decontamination are also presented.
