SAMPLING FROM A RAYLEIGH DISTRIBUTION

Abstract

This analysis provides a table of the exact values of the sampling distribution for a Rayleigh population. The table can be used in solving certain radar problems. In developing the theoretical background required for the computation of the sampling distribution, use was made of both the cumulated terms of th Poisson exponential binomial limit and of standard CHI square tables.
