Abstract

Information is presented on the geology, mineralogy, and economic geology of fluorspar deposits in the U.S.S.R. A discussion of the chemical and physical properties along with the numerous industrial applications for this mineral are given. Mining problems, geologic conditions and production figures are listed. An extensive Russian literature bibliography is appended.
