DEVELOPMENT OF AN IMPROVED JAN 6299
Abstract
INVESTIGATIONS ARE BEING MADE TO OBTAIN BETTER PERFORMANCE AND GREATER RELIABILITY FROM THE JAN 6299 by evaluating and adapting the latest tube technological advancement. Seven projects are outlined which are designed to improve some specific part of the tube. Progress made on each of the projects is listed. Some expected problems are discussed with the steps planned for their solution. (Author)
