CORRECTION TO INTRINSIC MAGNETIC MOMENTS BY CENTRAL AND TENSOR FORCES

Abstract

The magnetic moment correction by central and tensor interactions between a nucleon of specific momentum and spin and the Fermi sea are studied. The intrinsic magnetic moment operator is stated. The correction value is calculated by a second order perturbation method. The results are in qualitative agreement with the doubly-magic-plusor-minus-one nuclei magnetic moments. (Author)
